Somewhat Casemods

When an instant msg comes in,
the Scroll Lock Led blinks a few times.
That way i can notice a msg coming in even when i'm playing a game or have my monitor off.
Small note: I changed the normal green led
for a red one :)

And since we're at it. I also changed the default green Hardisk activity led at the front of the pc case into a blacklight/blue UV light led.

And I put my nickname in keyboards keys on my pc:

I had this small blacklight tube. originally it's meant for in the car. also as it needs 12volt power.
Now since the dutch police is giving tickets to drivers with "special" lights on their cars i decided to take it off my own car.
Then recently i was thinking..............what can i do with that tube. It needs 12volt. hmmmm.......my pc's powersupply gives 12volt.
So i installed the tube behind my 17" LCD monitor and wired it to the pc's powersupply.
Here is the result.   Click on a pic to enlarge it.
